  You have to come to our great church - "Surely the Lord is in this place!" What a great spirit - tremendous preaching from a called man of God, beautiful songs of the faith... it's just fun being at MOBC!

  I have grown up in this church. My parents and I started attending here back in '99 and now I attend here with a family of my own. I have been to many other churches around KY and in other states and none of them even compare to MOBC, I might be a little biased but come check it out and prove me wrong. Bro. Walker has been my pastor for many years now and he has always made me feel loved and shows me that he cares for me as an individual.
  We make no apology for what we are, what we stand for, and Who we stand with:
  We are an old-fashioned hell-fire-and-damnation Heaven-bound Spirit-filled God-fearing devil-hating people-rescuing Independent Fundamental Baptist Church.
  We stand for the King James Bible alone, sound doctrine, eternal salvation through trusting in Jesus alone, once saved always saved, good ole' Gospel music, marriage between one man and one woman, the value of life in every case no matter how young or old, Holy Ghost revival, America's Christian heritage, and liberty & freedom.
  We stand with JESUS CHRIST the KING of Kings and LORD of Lords the Son of God and only way to Heaven.
  So if you are looking for a church that stands with and for the truth, that has a pastor who walks with God and truly loves and cares about people and preaches to them the truth, and that will accept anyone and everyone and let the Word of God change them into what they ought to be, then Mt.   My family and I moved from Indian to Ky back in 2014. We started looking for differ churches. We visited this church. Like it right away. But we did want to also try other churches, Well we went to one other church and decided to come back to Mt Olivet. My family and I really love the preaching. We are believers in 1611 King James Bible and that is what is preached. Not saying that some of the congregation uses NIV. I am not sure. That is their preference.
  My son enjoys the Sunday school classes, Wednesday night Kids Patch Club and Friday night Boys and Girls club. The church just started a club for girls 13 and up as well. And the young gentleman have a Friday night program as well. Church also reaches out to the community every wk or should I say everyday. On Friday night's they have a RU ( Recovery Unanimous ) Program. This program is not just for Recovery, it can be for road rage, loosing weight, anger and ect. You want a good church so you and your children can grow ? You want a church that you can hear God's true word? Then this is the church. I promise you will have a good time. Plus the pastor has a great since of humor.....
